CyberQuest is a fast track training programme which enables and prepares people for employment in Cybersecurity roles. There are three pathways: Foundation,Intermediate and Advanced. Our graduates are successfully finding jobs in theIT/Cyber sector
TheCyberQuest training programme was launched in late 2020 to help people retrain as a result of being unemployed due in part to Covid-19.
Our ambition is to train over 700 people on this programme. Of the first380 people to graduate from the programme, over 50% have now secured employment.
Many of our trainees have secured employment with the leading Cybersecurity firms in Ireland.
Anyone whois unemployed, 18 years or older, an EU/EEA national and resident of Ireland.Some non-residents with applicable work visa may also apply.
There is aFoundation, Intermediate and Advanced pathway
Training Requirements
You will need a computer with a camera and microphone and access to the internet. The computer will need to be able to support Teams and the training platforms(either Infosec or Immersive Labs).
CyberQuest is a self-paced, self-directed online training programme but generally participants will need to put in between 10 to 12 hours online a week to complete the suggested training courses. This varies somewhat between Paths,with the Intermediate the most time intensive.
